Before we begin, I want you to rise and take a stand by your mirror.
Sorry if you don’t have one. Oh, oh, you could use your phone’s camera.
Look at you; you couldn’t have pulled through 2023 without your showing up for you.
Step by step, day by day, week by week, and month by month.
Maybe you wish things were better. Yeah, you could do better. But let me repeat what I told one of my guys: “Despite all, giving up was a choice you didn’t make. Be proud of you.”
That said, Happy New Year 2024!
This is another opportunity to do better.
As the New Year starts, remember that humans evolve.
The person you were last year and the choices you made years ago don’t have to define the rest of your life.
If you need to change,
Anytime, any day, never hesitate to get up, and open your potential box to explore, irrespective of the fable about “what will anyone think?” or “what if it doesn’t turn out well?”
I say that because you are the only one who gets to decide the kind of life you want to live.
Let it not be heard that you never took the chance to compete against the best you could be.
Don’t shy away from the spotlight of change, for it is as a result that you discover the depth of your capabilities.
Perhaps it’s time to change your career, learn something new, and bid farewell to friendships that no longer serve your growth.
Dare to turn the page.
Change is not a foe. You hear?
However hard it’s, change always leads to discovery. Don’t let the convenience of the known rob you of the potential of the unknown.
Of course, this is not a call
to take a reckless leap.
Again, you don’t have to be one thing for the rest of your life; become the myriad of possibilities waiting to unfold.
When you hear, “No gree for anybody in 2024,”
I’d like you to first see that as an unapologetic reference to your fear, doubt, comfort zones, and everything within you that does not resonate with your evolving self.
What’s never an issue internally wouldn’t hold much water externally.
May 2024 pave clearer paths to the dynamic masterpiece that you carry.
Stay BAKE!
Question for you:
What are the things that improved your life in 2023? How do you plan to do them more intentionally in 2024?
What a way to nudge us into the new year.
For me, focussing more on God while I explore worked for me in 2023 and I intend to intensify that in 2024. Moving off relationships that were not working and focusing on the ones working also is a key thing I would be watering in 2024.
And yes, I refuse to be just one thing for the rest of my life. I will explore. We will explore. Cheers to a beautiful 2024!
