The thin line between arriving a minute late or on time to the hospital can be the decisive factor in determining someone’s survival. Time is not just a ticking clock. It’s a lifeline.
Time, action, and patience shape the trajectory of your goals.
However, the paradox of time may make you believe you have enough of it.
You may find this evident in how someone procrastinates. “I will do it later today.” “I will do it tomorrow.”
Hello, have you begun to take action on any of your resolutions for the year?
You are still planning?
Of course, planning is important for goal achievement. But beware of the illusion of it.
Stay too long planning, and you may have abandoned opportunities.
I’m not saying you should act blindly.
But, sometimes, the statement: “Don’t worry, you still have time,” is deception.
In Jacob Banks’ voice, “You better RUN!”
Action speaks louder than intentions.
It is the heartbeat of transformation. However, sometimes we are imprisoned by our comfort zones. Comfort zones may be your danger zones. You understand the need to act; you can, by all means, but you are still procrastinating.
How self-destructive can that be?
Stop deferring actions that are worth taking today.
Well, it’s good to have some faith and hope, but never overestimate the goodwill of tomorrow. Tomorrow has needs of its own in store.
“A patient dog eats the fattest bone."
Can be misleading.
If the dog doesn’t act, the fattest bone will never get to it. Patience is a virtue. But when not deployed correctly, it could just be another leisurely pace.
A passive waiting game is not patience.
What is the use of your patience when you have not taken action? It is like farming. A farmer who has put nothing in the soil but is patiently waiting for the sound of the rain is already late to the party. The reward of patience is born out of first putting in the work.
No gree for your procrastination and comfort zones.
Have some sense of urgency.
The clock ticks,
And your time starts NOW.
Stay BAKE!
